As a Clinical Trials Business Development Manager you are responsible for developing sales for a defined territory, customer target list, and/or a group purchasing organizational assessment and achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. We're looking for a dynamic sales person with extraordinary leadership, negotiation, and customer service skills; as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will meet all established Company standards with respect to selling skills, product knowledge, account and territory penetration, competitive knowledge of market and competition, understanding of managed care, and reimbursement methodologies.

- You will assist the operational team with data collection from potential customers as needed.

- You will purposefully solicits sales from prospective customers within the territory as well as seeks deeper penetration into existing accounts.

- Acts in a consultative capacity, assists customers to identify how Coram Clinical Trial’s services could facilitate problem resolution as well as formulate a vision of adapting company services to their own requirements and specifications.

- Sets strategies and demonstrates a tactical sales plan with each account that results in the achievement of projected sales targets.

- Demonstrates ability to close sales as evidenced by length of sales cycle, efficiency of sales process, and number of contracts signed.

- Plans and organizes a daily, weekly, and monthly work schedule to achieve optimum efficiency.

- Follows established process with regard to facilitating the completion of timely cost estimates on new business, pricing, and contract procurement.

- Assists as requested with the development of marketing and special event materials.

- Assists in the development and presentation of customer specific monthly and quarterly Quality Measurement Reports.

- Assists management in special assignments such as market tests, surveys, developing budgets, and territory breakdowns in assigned areas.

- Completes and submits all required reports in a timely manner.

- Maintains current account files and other records with respect to current and prospective customers in accordance with Company instructions and requirements.

- Assists in collections of accounts receivable on an as needed basis.

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Up to 50% travel

**This position can be remote.**

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of dynamic sales achievement.

- 2+ years demonstrated success in selling services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies preferred.

- Familiarity with concepts related to the development and implementation of Phase I, II, III and IV clinical trials.

- Valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.

- Proficiency with Microsoft business software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling services to Clinical Research Organizations.

Education
- Education or experience equivalent to a four-year college degree.
