As a Home Infusion Pharmacy Supervisor you will utilize your management, logistics and infusion experiences assisting the pharmacy manager servicing patients receiving specialized and complex therapies administered in their homes. Coordinate and direct activities of pharmacy personnel in the appropriate compounding, packaging and labeling of compounded sterile products ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

As a national leader in the home infusion field, we seek to hire those special pharmacists who not only possess strong clinical expertise, but the kind of deep compassion and sensitivity it takes to build one-on-one relationships and support patients receiving infusion therapy in the comfort of their home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Involved in the implementation of new clinical programs and or marketing activities to physicians, nursing agencies and referral sources.
* Obtain, interpret and evaluate all physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety and completeness.
* Check compounded sterile products, computer order-entry and manage the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure use of preferred products per formulary. Communicate clinical and technical information with other members of healthcare team.
* Participate in performance improvement, recommending process changes in workflow and develop educational programs.
* Assist with interviewing coaching, training and orientation of new employees.
* Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
* Additional licensure may be required in multi state service areas.

Required Qualifications
Registered Pharmacist with current license in the State of Georgia.
Previous leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications
Infusion experience in a home healthcare or hospital infusion setting as a supervisor, manager or PIC preferred.

B.S. or doctorate of pharmacy degree
